Fez pottery, better known as Fassi pottery, is glazed in white and embellished with cobalt oxide, which produces a vibrant shade of blue during the kiln firing. Designs typically feature motifs and patterns including flowers, zigzags, chevrons, dots, triangles, and crosshatching, all of which are used to convey messages.
This particular piece is notable with the 12-carat gold stripes and the double-barrel design.
